Hi,
I am running unstable, and this morning I got the error from
logrotate, here is the full text of the message:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
/usr/sbin/invoke-rc.d: line 446: 7835 Terminated
"${INITDPREFIX}${INITSCRIPTID}" "${saction}" "$@"
error: error running postrotate script for /var/log/dirmngr.log
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1
I have seen this message before several times, but then it stopped
for a while, I suppose after upgrading lsb-base to 3.2-20, and now it
is back again.
Does this still happen?
I hasn't happened ever since. I did re-installed a bunch of packages
(dirmngr and lsb-base included) after fscking the disk and fixing a few
errors. It must have been a problem with that particular installation. I
have two another Sids running in virtual machines and one Lenny running
on my home server and they are all fine.
