I see, I'm curious how many people actually still use this package, now that 2.2 kernels will get dropped for Etch quite likely, and only 2.4/2.6 remain. But well, as you note, there's at least someone (you) supporting it to remain in Debian, and that has always been enough reason in Debian to keep a package.
