In SVN r1202 I made quodlibet recommend quodlibet-ext, and quodlibet-ext depend on quodlibet. I think this is a better reflection of the actual relationships between the packages. I might consider dropping quodlibet-ext to a suggests, but 1) it fits the definition of a recommends and IMO most people using Quod Libet want it or don't care, and 2) is very small, so if it gets installed by accident it's no big deal.
