Package: tla Version: 1.3-1 Severity: normal According to the documentation, the following command should return an exit status only:
[587] [snoopy:bam] ~ >tla id --silent ddd error finding file id (2: No such file or directory) path: ddd PANIC: arch_inventory_id Under tla, a file can have an ID even if it doesn't exist (although this is an error condition...). I want to make this is is not the case for a particular file from within a script, so I can create a new file without fear of clashes. However, I don't want to have to redirect STDERR either, that might hide serious errors (e.g. can't find tla executable). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages tla depends on: ii diff 2.8.1-11 File comparison utilities ii gawk 1:3.1.4-2 GNU awk, a pattern scanning and pr ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libneon24 0.24.7.dfsg-2 An HTTP and WebDAV client library ii patch 2.5.9-2 Apply a diff file to an original -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
