I applied them to the po4a repository, but do not intend to make the change for Lenny (because that could fuzzy strings in some packages that build depend on po4a). If you need these changes for Lenny (e.g. for refcard), I would recommend to create locally a modified Docbook.pm in a lib/Locale/Po4a/Docbook.pm file, and export PERLLIB=lib/.
