> Make sure dbus is running...

I tried restarting dbus. ps shows:

11651 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 5
--print-address 7 --session
11652 pts/1 S 0:00 dbus-launch --autolaunch
25f75b0ecf8d5f3491e7cef2484af518 --binary-syntax --close-stderr
18288 ? Ss 0:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --system

> ...and properly configured.

The configuration is the default. I've never touched it.

I just now noticed that these were running:

11654 ? SLl 1160:02 /usr/lib/beep-media-player-2-bin
11659 ? S 0:00 /usr/lib/beep-media-player-2-sentinel

'kill -9 11654 11659' allowed bmpx to start again.
