  Thanks for drawing my attention to this bug.  This is actually a duplicate 
of 160418 and 221631, but I must have forgotten to merge it.

  What you're reporting sounds more like the bug where an unnecessary warning 
message is printed after an "aptitude update".  I can reproduce this with 
sarge's aptitude, but not with the aptitude in experimental.
