I am using an Intel sound card, which works OK just after a reboot, but quickly
mutes (the mixer doesn't show it as muted, there's just no sound). I haven't
been able to
determine a pattern to this - which program(s) might be messing with it, it
simply stops working very quickly. The sound card works without issue in Ubuntu
Hardy.
