Package: gimp-ufraw Version: 0.13-1+b2 Severity: important The UFRaw plugin for Gimp wrongly activates itself when I try to load a TIFF file produced by Hugin in Gimp (UFRaw probably thinks the TIFF file comes from a camera, but it can't decode it and I can only get a completely black image in Gimp). I think UFRaw is confused by the EXIF data that Hugin includes in the generated file, since if I strip the EXIF data by converting to PNG and back to TIFF with ImageMagick, I can load the resulting TIFF file without any problems (UFRaw doesn't automatically appear). I can send you an example TIFF file that reproduces the problem - is it ok to attach it?
I didn't find any way to prevent gimp-ufraw from activating for a specific image - the only way seems to uninstall the package (I don't want to convert the Hugin TIFF two times with ImageMagick every time, it's much too slow on my old PC, almost 30 minutes for a 40 MP panorama).
