Package: kernel-image-2.6.11-1-686 Version: 2.6.11-5 Severity: important After upgrading from kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686, the system clock drifts ahead of the hardware clock approximately two minutes per hour, sometimes more. It's not uncommon for it to drift 2 full hours in 7 hours' time.
I recently tested again with 2.6.8, and it does not drift even after about half an hour of operation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages kernel-image-2.6.11-1-686 depends on: ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii fileutils 5.2.1-2 The GNU file management utilities ii initrd-tools 0.1.81.1 tools to create initrd image for p ii module-init-tools 3.2-pre1-2 tools for managing Linux kernel mo -- no debconf information --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
