Package: gksu Version: 1.2.5-3 Severity: normal
I add an item to /etc/sudoers so I can run it without a password: martins ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm I then run it under gksudo: gksudo /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm I get the following weird behaviour: 1. The xterm window opens without requiring a password. Yay! I close the xterm. 2. The password dialog appears. :-( If I click OK or press the Enter key the password dialog disappears and another xterm window opens. If I click Cancel I don't get another xterm. The password dialog should not reappear! I also see the following error each time an xterm opens: Warning: Tried to connect to session manager, Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed I don't get this error if I run sudo instead of gksudo.
