I assume the actual problem (at least it's the problem i did just run into), is that mplayer as it's built currently doesn't use libdvdread and therefor cannot play some broken dvds ... I have at least one dvd which i could only play after rebuilding mplayer with "--disable-dvdread-internal". Seems Industry is loosing the ability to create a valid file system.
