Package: jamin Version: 0.95.0-4+b1 Severity: normal Hi!
/usr/bin/jamin contains RPATH. On my box: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ chrpath /usr/bin/jamin /usr/bin/jamin: RPATH=/usr/lib64 This is at least a lintian warning, however, since I sometimes want to use libjack from /usr/local/, I came across this bug. Further reading: http://lintian.debian.org/tags/binary-or-shlib-defines-rpath.html http://wiki.debian.org/RpathIssue Simple solution: Run chrpath -d in debian/rules Other possible solutions: You could try a new libtool/autoconf or follow the instructions in http://wiki.debian.org/RpathIssue.
