According to its description, cherokee does support executing CGI scripts, so it should provide httpd-cgi package. There's an old Debian Policy proposal requesting such a virtual package (see bug#117916) and the most of web-server packages available in Debian do this (e.g all apaches, caudium, thy). Having all the CGI-capable web-servers provide httpd-cgi will allow me to close bugs like #186395 and #43271.
