Hello. I'm not sure what caused the crash in other programs. I follow the EXIF standard when writing the tags, but I did have a bug in the code that reads the altitude; it did not negate the altitude if required. The altitude was always written correctly. I have released 1.5.7 today, which fixes the reading of the altitude. Thankyou, Daniel Foote.
