Package: open-invaders
Version: 0.3-1
Severity: wishlist

The original Space Invaders ran on the Atari 2600, "powered" by a 8 bit MOS
6507 CPU @1.19MHz and 4Kb of system
RAM. It was way more playable than open-invaders on a Toshiba Satellite
1800-100, "powered" by a 32 bit Celeron CPU
@800MHz, 512Mb of system SDRAM and a Trident Cyberblade/i1 graphic board
(trident driver).

I mean, I get roughly 1fps fullscreen, less than 2 windowed. I get better
performance (perfect performance) running
the Space Invaders clone for DOS (written in BASIC) in the Dosbox emulator on
the same notebook.

Don't you also believe that a game like this should not need a brand new GPU to
run smoothly?
