Switching the BDB backend used for OpenLDAP in lenny is not a change to be made at the eleventh hour. Given the rate of change of db formats for OpenLDAP, and the rate of Debian releases, I think users should expect to do a database dump and reload for every Debian release - so I don't think that weighs very heavily at all. Once squeeze opens I will tackle the question of getting OpenLDAP off of db4.2 with relish, but this ought to be considered a 'wontfix' for lenny. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
