No, you can keep the package aqbanking-tools up to date, but you should
downgrade the now transitional package aqbanking-tool to the version in
Etch (or at least prior to version 3.x). This is the package actually
containing the binary aqbanking-tool and this should be possible without
any dependency conflicts.

This requires the aqbanking-tool to be ported to AqBanking 3.x, which is
a non-trivial task. So, this is not an option for Lenny more.
