Just ran into the identical problem w/ a fresh lenny install. Was able to work around the problem by manually setting the password from w/in mysql.
Go into mysql as root, you should see the there is a bugzilla3 user, just set the password that is set in /etc/bugzilla3/dbconfig-params for bugzilla3, then rerun apt-get install bugzilla3. This proved to be a sufficient workaround for the above problem. I did however have to manually configure apache to use the bugzilla3 directories... -Chad -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
