Correction; after having switched driver versions back and forth a few times, it appears that 3.51.09 *does* let me update tables through the OOo GUI. I'm not sure what the difference is between my test the first time, and my subsequent tests. So, at this point I would need to see a table spec that does *not* work with 3.51.09, so that I can try to reproduce the problem again. -- Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
