Further note, This occurs even from a terminal window without using X-server. If connecting to openssh-server-1:5.1p1-2(lenny) from older version of openssh-client(4.3p2-9etch2) the logo is displayed proper, but if openssh-client is ver 1:5.1p1-2 the file /etc/issue.linuxlogo breaks.
