I'm unable to replicate this:

trofast:~# ls /test
mytest
trofast:~# mount | grep mytest
trofast:~# cat /test/mytest/worked
yup
trofast:~# mount | grep mytest    
/my test on /test/mytest type none (rw,bind)

Would you please test it with the latest package from sid? What kernel are
you using?
