reopen 497324 found 497324 2.1.1-2 thanks 2.1.1-2 presumably fixes the issue in lxml.etree.pyx, but does not regenerate lxml.etree.c. I don't know how that is generated, so I didn't include a patch for it. lxml.etree.c must be regenerated for the fix to have any effect; so the bug still exists.
