Hm. I have a strange feeling of inreversibility about epochs :) Can it 
be 0.05+really0.04 instead? Only if you consider this less ugly than 
an epoch :)

I guess it is. The mail would have to be quoted (Recieved headers 
included) in debian/copyright.
