how do I do this most easily, and with minimal interruption? The box currently serves under OpenBSD, and needs to be readily available again to server under OpenBSD within minutes, if I conduct this test. So, anything that implies the formatting of a disk is out of bounds... I can netboot the machine, but guess that the combination of background graphics (frame buffer mode?) triggers the bug, and I don't know how to reproduce that.
