1. gpicview rotates any jpeg images no matter if its size is a multiple
   of 8.
2. gpicview automatically WRITES those rotated images, and makes data
   loss. [1]
3. if gpicview can not handle certain size of images, DO NOT write it.

4. Severity levels of Debian bug: [2]
   "grave" makes the package in question unusable or mostly so, or
   causes DATA LOSS, or introduces a security hole allowing access to
   the accounts of users who use the package.
