When viewing websites containing flash in iceweasel, it reports that either 
Javascript it turned off (it is turned on) or Flash is too old.
Running iceweasel from the terminal outputs this line at startup:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library 
/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so 
[/usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32]
