Package: fontconfig-config
Version: 2.6.0-1
Severity: important

Hi,

The new default of having enable_bitmaps set to false is not resulting in no
bitmaps. This may be important, yet small enough, to warrant inclusion in
lenny otherwise lenny will have broken fonts for some sites (and other uses)
due to the whole unscaled bitmaps to printer mess.

Anyway, the details:

/etc/fonts/conf.d/70-no-enable-bitmaps is not created (via symlink to
../conf.avail/70-no-enable-bitmaps), nor is 70-yes-enable-bitmaps.

See the thread at

http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2008/08/msg00530.html

and follow-ups

Regards,

Daniel
