Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

thanks for maintaining the bts.

A friend of mine just asked me: "how do you see in the bts if the bug is
still open?" and the best answer I had was "you see it's open because it
is not closed". This is however a piece of information that needs to be
learnt.

Let's take a random open bug:
  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=436161
nowhere in the page it says that the bug is actually still open.

It would be nice if in the summary given at the top of the page,
together with Reported by, Date and Severity, there were also a State
field saying whether the bug is open, closed, or closed but only in some
versions.

Ciao,

Enrico
