Package: acpid
Version: 1.0.6-10

The new acpid in lenny does not write logs for the Fn-key-events
received any more. That is fine if everything works.

However, if things don't work, it is not very helpful.
In particular, increasing the log level with -d automatically
makes acpid run in foreground, which is not helpful.

I spent considerable time checking the hotkey mask of my
thinkpad_acpi module, where the Fn-F5 key worked and the
Fn-F4 key didn't, before I found out that the problem is
on the other side (in the all-new acpi script system).

It is hard to localize a problem if several layers of scripts
are involved, none of which logs anything inbetween.

I'd like to see acpid at least log the Fn key events.
