I am doing to touch-stuff in configure/gmpc:: (i.e. post ./configure) since makebuilddir/foo:: is *not* run directly before ./configure (contrary to cdbs docs) but also before quilt patches are applied. - Therefore the fix would suddenly stopped working if you chose to move the stuff from debian diff.gz to debian/patches.
