Sorry to inform you that
(setq auto-fill-inhibit-list '("form textarea"))
didn't work. Oh yes, it does for buffers created by
(switch-to-buffer), but not the native "*w3m form textarea*" buffers
of w3m, for which I must use
(add-hook 'w3m-form-input-textarea-mode-hook 'turn-off-auto-fill).
