Package: libldap2
Version: 2.1.30-8
Severity: important

This seems to be related to bug 309485, but that bug says closed. I've
kept my system up-to-sarge for many months now. As of last month (or
so), suddenly apache2 stopped working with the message:

/usr/sbin/apache2: error while loading shared libraries: libldap.so.2: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

That file is a symlink created by libldap2, which was
installed. Simply reinstalling it solved the problem:

silver:~# dpkg -l libldap2
[...]
ii  libldap2                         2.1.30-8                         OpenLDAP
libraries
silver:~# apt-get install --reinstall libldap2
[...]
silver:~# ls -l /usr/lib/libldap.so.2
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 14 Jun  7 11:07 /usr/lib/libldap.so.2 -> libldap_r.so.2

I don't know what exactly caused the problem, but I thought this was
important -- a woody-sarge upgrade should be tested!
