No, but you tend to think that your single problem is very representative for the rest of the world, right? > > > $ sudo vpnc > > > VPNC started in background (pid: 11616)... > > There is no password prompt. Because it wastes MY time. If you wanna hide it, remap the IP address numbers to private ones but don't use this childish stuff please. > PARSING PAYLOAD type: 00 (ISAKMP_PAYLOAD_NONE) > PARSE_OK > hashlen: 16 > u.hash.length: 16 > expected_hash: <<1x4x8 hex>> > h->u.hash.data: <<1x4x8 hex (same as above)>> > got save password setting: 0 > got pfs setting: 0 > Remote Application Version: Cisco Systems, Inc PIX-515E Version 7.0(4) > built by builders on Thu 13-Oct-05 21:43 > got address YYY.YYY.YY.139 Here we go, looks fine so far. Then there might be a problem somewhere in the interface configuration resp. IP filtering. Please check: - iptables rules (I guess you know how to do that) - lower the MTU of your tun interface: ifconfig tun0 mtu 1234 If that works, try increasing while testing connectivity. I have a bad feeling that something about 1390 might work and more than 1400 won't.
