Sorry for the late reply. The proc files look fine to me.
However it's perhaps easier to check the alsa connections with the aconnect.
This is what I get:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ aconnect -li
client 0: 'System' [type=kernel]
    0 'Timer '
    1 'Announce '
        Connecting To: 15:0
client 14: 'Midi Through' [type=kernel]
    0 'Midi Through Port-0'
        Connected From: 129:0
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ aconnect -lo
client 14: 'Midi Through' [type=kernel]
    0 'Midi Through Port-0'
        Connected From: 129:0
client 128: 'TiMidity' [type=user]
    0 'TiMidity port 0 '
        Connected From: 130:0
    1 'TiMidity port 1 '
        Connected From: 131:0
    2 'TiMidity port 2 '
        Connected From: 132:0
    3 'TiMidity port 3 '
        Connected From: 133:0
client 129: 'Client-129' [type=user]
    0 'port-0 '
        Connecting To: 14:0
client 130: 'Client-130' [type=user]
    0 'port-0 '
        Connecting To: 128:0
client 131: 'Client-131' [type=user]
    0 'port-0 '
        Connecting To: 128:1
client 132: 'Client-132' [type=user]
    0 'port-0 '
        Connecting To: 128:2
client 133: 'Client-133' [type=user]
    0 'port-0 '
        Connecting To: 128:3
