Package: kpowersave
Version: 0.7.3-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

On/Aoout 19Jul08, kpowersave applet changed and no longer returns my
Thinkpad T61 from suspend mode.

Something also causes my entire machine to lock up every half hour or
so.

kpowersave is only a frontend, to call the suspend method. It doesn't do the actual suspend, so I doubt it's a bug in kpowersave. Besides, it hasn't been updated for quite some time.

Could you please provide more details:
- Which software packages were updated when suspend/resume started to fail?
I noticed a change in the interface for kpowersave at the time of this problem. There were many other packages that changed, so I can't give a definitive answer on this
- What graphics card do you use, which kernel version?
I believe it may be in the display. lspci -v gives: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS 140M (rev a1)

- Please attache the fail /var/log/pm-suspend.log after a failed suspend/resume.
