Package: sound-juicer Version: 2.22.0-1 Severity: minor Hello,
this is a rather minor thing, but perhaps also easily fixed: When extracting songs from a CD, the file-system order ('ls -f' or 'ls -U') of the song files is not always the same as the order of the songs on the CD. This is a problem with certain "mp3-players", which only plays the files in the order they are on the file system. Currently, the problem is easily fixed using cp $(ls) /media/disk/Music/Artist/Record/ instead of cp * /media/disk/Music/Artist/Record/ when moving the files to the player. But I guess the ideal would be to have sound-juicer to store the song files in the same order the songs were on the CD. I'm not sure what's behind this, as a recent CD I extracted had the last song of the 11 songs on the cd appear as first on the file system. Also, I suspect something has been changed, as most of the older stuff seems to be in right order after sound-juicer, the problem manifests only in the more recent extracts. As I said, nothing critical, only irritating.
