Thanks for the bugreport and this additional info. The bug is not tied to the version of the kernel, but to the version of mdadm - newer versions emit this hint that yaird does not need for its operations but chokes on anyway (due to a fundamental design decision of yaird: bail out if uncertain). I have prepared a new packaging release of yaird due in some hours in Debian Sid. If you need yaird in either Lenny or Etch, you can either backport yourself or, if you use either i386 or amd64, you can use this APT line: deb http://debian.jones.dk $DIST yaird Again, thanks for your help! - jonas - -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkihNb8ACgkQn7DbMsAkQLjVHACglsqvKMBKCa9nu6Zp+HJMuFfI M2gAn2rO9LuqN0R7JRupmckkXTpvsDBQ =pJzm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
