Package: initrd-tools Version: 0.1.81.1 Severity: normal Tags: patch
mkinitrd currently includes and loads the drbd module (from drbd0.7-module-source) if it's installed. This moduls might need additional parameters that are normaly set by its startup script. Loading it in initrd omits those parameters and is IMHO pointless anyway. patch to filter it out: --- mkinitrd.orig 2005-06-06 11:38:19.000000000 +0200 +++ mkinitrd 2005-06-06 11:29:21.000000000 +0200 @@ -905,6 +905,7 @@ !/fs\/smbfs\/[^\/]*\$/ && !/drivers\/block\/loop\.$o\$/ && !/drivers\/block\/nbd\.$o\$/ && + !/drivers\/block\/drbd\.$o\$/ && !/drivers\/block\/paride\/[^\/]*\$/ && !/drivers\/ide\/ide-cs\.$o\$/ && !/drivers\/ide\/ide-tape\.$o\$/ && -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages initrd-tools depends on: ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii cpio 2.5-1.2 GNU cpio -- a program to managear ii cramfsprogs 1.1-6 Tools for CramFs (Compressed ROMF ii dash 0.5.2-5 The Debian Almquist Shell ii fileutils 5.2.1-2 The GNU file management utilities ii util-linux 2.12p-4 Miscellaneous system utilities -- no debconf information
