Cause you make your problem sound more important than it's actually for other users: "important a bug which has a major effect on the usability of a package, without rendering it completely unusable to everyone." Fits well to me, at least it's usable for me and a bunch of other users. You can see in your posted logs that it's an invalid From header unless this is a parsing bug in fetchmail which I don't believe at the moment.
