Hi Christian History repeats itself it seems [0] ;)
You may notice (in sympa's PTS page) that I was ready to ask for sponsorship of a NMU to address fix of #411983 on sympa too. The updated package awaits comments / sponsored upload at : http://mentors.debian.net/cgi-bin/sponsor-pkglist?action=details;package=sympa Of course, it fixes an important bug, and the goal was to have it fixed in lenny, asking for freeze exception on that one. Would you care to review it and sponsor its upload, maybe together with the i18n fixes ? I have been in contact with the maintainer, who said he would take care of preparing an updated package, but apparently didn't react in time for the "deadline" I had put on today morning for going ask for sponsorship on a NMU. More details on previous communication with the maintainer at : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=411983 More comments bellow : Le vendredi 08 août 2008 à 23:08 -0300, Christian Perrier a écrit : > Dear Debian maintainer, > > The sympa Debian package, which you are the maintainer of, has > pending bug report(s) which include translation updates or fixes > for po-debconf, namely bug number 480987 (and maybe other similar bugs). > > We're now getting very close to the release and fixing l10n bugs should be > done now. FYI, there's also another RC bug on sympa recently arrived, but have had no time to check and try and help.
