I would much prefer if that one package were the existing mguesser package, as it's a useful utility in its own right, and I have no desire to install all of mnogosearch just for this functionality. In my experience, out of the language-identification tools available for Debian, mguesser has the best accuracy, by far. If the mnogosearch-* packages require mguesser, make them Depends: mguesser. In actual fact, though, I imagine they will work just fine if you simply change the build script to not build and include mguesser in those packages.
