Hi, I do have a battery, but no /proc/acpi/battery/ dir - in kernel 2.4.25. as far as I remember from fixing the battery-plugin the battery-stuff has been deprecated in /proc/ and now is in /sys/class/power_supply/ However on a 2.4.24 kernel the battery-dir is /proc/acpi/battery/BAT1/ - I think it was just a mistake to add ACPI_DIR_BATTERY twice... The whole acpi-code of this seems to be rather untested.. but hopefully we've fixed the worst bugs now. Will you report them upstream?
