Hi. The maintainer seems unresponsive as the moment (no responses to emails since June 30), so I'm preparing a NMU for this bug fix.
You may find the prepared source package at : http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/sympa/ If I get no responses/ACK from the maintainer until August 8, I intend to ask for sponsorship for this NMU. The goal is to have this important bug possibly fixed in lenny (despite freeze, so will also need approval by release team). I hope Racke can become available and handle this himself.
