Uh, no, sorry. The old firmware still works with 2.6.25 (I have a AP extreme on my Mac mini working with it) > to be done by hand following the online instructions available on the > b43 website. > > http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#firmwareinstallation > > Is it possible to use by default the firmwares that are compatible with > the Lenny kernel ? Yes, if you find a proper solution on how I detect the old firmware and can then get and download the new one. I don't want to just unconditionally extract the firmware on the upgrade (and you can't check for uname -r's outout anyway, because at dist-upgrade time it's still the old kernel which is running) I still need to find a proper solution (and I don't currently have that much time...)
