G'day - first bug report, so be nice to me :-)

Running unstable (netbase 4.33), note the following:
- /etc/rcS.d/S40networking (/etc/init.d/networking) runs with /bin/sh -e
- /etc/network/options still exists
- process_options() in S40networking calls log_warning_msg, which
returns -1
- S40networking exits, the ifup -a isn't called at all
- the network init sequence finally hangs when trying to start rpc.statd
2 init scripts later (nfs-common - I have NFS mounts)

Moving /etc/network/options out of the way fixes the problem. Running
the script without the -e flag fixes it too (but I don't know if it's
there for a particular reason). Yes, I've seen the warnings for ages
and thought I'll get around to reading the README one day. Guess I
should now.

Now to sort out why NFS has just started squashing all my UIDs...

Kevin
