tags 305855 wontfix thanks Fixing this bug would require the use of a kind of "wrapper" around gwc, which I'm a bit reluctant to write, as it would mean hardcoding stuff to do the "chmod g+w" only when the target directory is /var/lib/geneweb where databases served by the main daemon are located.
In the early days of the geneweb Debian package, I wrote such wrappers for gwc and finally abandoned as they were a bit over complicated and prone to errors.
