-- System Information:

  APT policy: (500, 'testing')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-k7
Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)

Versions of packages pentium-builder depends on:
ii  g++                           4:3.3.5-3  The GNU C++ compiler
ii gcc 4:3.3.5-3 The GNU C compiler
ii perl 5.8.4-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction

-- no debconf information

When trying to build, for example, libsdl1.2, it seems like pentium-builder
will be
bypassed, because "i386-linux-gcc" is being invoked as c-compiler.

Here's the situation on my system after installing gcc and pentium-builder:

lacerater:/usr/bin# ls -l gcc gcc.real i386-linux-gcc gcc-3.3 builder-cc
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root   477 2002-08-03 12:11 builder-cc
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    10 2005-06-04 14:24 gcc -> builder-cc
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root root 85196 2005-05-25 02:03 gcc-3.3
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root     7 2005-05-31 22:04 gcc.real -> gcc-3.3
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root     7 2005-05-31 22:04 i386-linux-gcc -> gcc-3.3
