Package: module-assistant
Version: 0.10.11.0
Severity: normal

If a newer version of the source package is available in the
repositories, module assistant will conveniently upgrade to that source
package before building the modules pacakge. However, if the existing package
is held

# aptitude hold <package>

module-assistant will still attempt to upgrade to the newer package even
though the hold indicates that the current version should be kept.

To achive the desired result, it is currently necessary to add

Package: <package>
Pin: version <version>
Pin-Priority: 1000

to /etc/apt/preferences instead.
