The PostgreSQL Bacula packages are designed to work with PostgreSQL 8.1. If you are using an older version, you may need to edit some scripts in /etc/bacula/scripts so that it uses the correct version of the I think that should now be 8.3, not 8.1. Maybe the later sentences need changing too (e.g., if you are using a version before 8.0 ....).
